The Game Quality Conversation: A New Podcast for Game QA Voices

We are beyond excited to bring to you our all-new podcast “The Game Quality Conversation” dedicated to the Game Quality profession.

The Goal

We wanted to create a space for open, thoughtful discussion about the craft of Game QA. A place where professionals can share perspectives, discuss challenges, exchange ideas, and explore the future of quality in games.

The Why

We believe that there is a real space for this and it all ties in with why GameQuality.org was founded in the first place. We wanted to create a professional body that not only represents the discipline worldwide, but provides a platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing and career development all geared towards the continued growth of the profession

The Game Quality Conversation continues and adds to that mission, creating a forum where you can both listen and take part, where dialogue leads to new ideas and shared learning and a place where you are heard.

The How

We look forward to welcoming voices from across the industry to the conversation and sharing their perspectives in a relaxed environment.

Sometimes, we’ll be playing games in the background while having our conversation, because at the end of the day, we’re all here for the love of video games and it makes for a fun and authentic setting.

Other episodes will take a more structured approach, with a calm interview format that allows us to explore deeper topics and have more focused conversations.

By mixing styles, we hope the podcast offers something for everyone, no matter your preference for casual chats or more in-depth discussions.

Our First Episode

We now have our very first episode available for you to watch! (ADD LINK)

For our first episode, we thought we’d start from the outside in.

Chelsea Curran Adams (Head of Content, GameQuality.org) is joined by Lisa Mercatelli (Content Creator, GameQuality.org) – and a gamer at heart – to explore an outsider’s perspective on Game QA.

Together, they dive into the world of game quality through personal stories, industry insights, and reflections on where the craft is heading.
