Land Your Message, Ignite Your Impact

With the introduction of this exciting new format at Qualicon 2024, join Laura Thomson-Staveley in this hour-long session to get you prepared to present confidently and succinctly to the Game Quality community. Rather than cramming it with info, the aim is to articulate your chosen topic in a quick, insightful, and clear manner.

Whether standalone, or part of a lightning talk series, we look at tips for gaining the attention of your audience, communicating key information, and landing your message with insightful impact. Our ‘easy steps prep’ format will set you up for onward success, and/or mentor someone else to give a great talk too.

We will explore:

• Land your message: Timings, structure, purpose and flow
• Ignite your impact: Telling the story, bringing data to life, creating inclusive rapport
• Rehearse: Sketch your next lightning talk using the ‘easy steps’ prep format, option for private practice in pairs in breakout rooms
